Well, I've completed week one of the Tri-newbie plan and it went very well. Even with the doubles on three days I never felt beat. It will get tougher. The only thing I haven't done is add in weight training but I'm not sure on which days to do it. If I add it to an easy day will it be an easy day no longer? This week I'll add weights at least once.
Received a real attaboy this month. The Greater Rochester Track Club will be inducting me into the GRTC Hall of Fame in January, I'm honored.

Back from the South
We've been in South Carolina for the last 6 weeks at our other home. Came home to 30 degree days and snow. While we were there I got in lots of good running and biking outdoors and swam at the local YMCA. The only bad part was that the coach I thought was going to work with me was not returning my emails or phone calls. Not sure what I've done to her that caused this so I went ahead on my own.
I took a week off when we got back and yesterday I started the Half Ironman plan from TRi-Newbie. It seems very do-able for me. Yesterday was 1100 meter swim and later a 25 mile bike. Today is another 1100 metr swim and later a 40 minute run. The plan builds for 20 weeks.
With this being Thanksgiving week I may have to adjust things a bit but that's half the fun.
